From the past till now it's known to everyone that to live a life on earth humans have to fulfill four basic needs - food , cloth , water & shelter . In this i want to add one more need that is Justice. Here justice means final verdict. It has the ability to ensure other needs. In Rule of Law index  ( World justice project  - an independent  Research organisation March 2020) India holds 69th position among 128 countries covered. In that India has never been ranked among top 50. The nation’s ranking in the Index “confirms poor performance in eight sectors - constraints on government powers, absence of corruption, open government, fundamental rights, public order and security, regulatory enforcement and civil and criminal justice”.Besides, poor rule of law has a devastating effect on right to life, liberty, economic justice, fraternity, individual dignity and national integration. It also offends rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 21.

Apart from the common people Justice is also closely related with business and economy too. Common people  and business houses loose thier  savings in such longitudinal hearings. It leads Many business houses to shut down too .

Approx 3.5 corors cases are pending in india including supreme court , hight court and all other lower courts .According to Law Ministry data, as on 1st Sept .2019 the high courts had 414 vacant positions as compared to the sanctioned strength of 1,079 judges.  Due to non availability of adequate number of judges ,poor investigation by police , political connections , priority to only high profile cases the justice most of the time get delayed . The common  man feel cheated by judiciary system , many times after poor financial condition ,life threats , public image degradation . Many parties opt withdrawal too.  Nowadays situations indicates that people  and business houses are avoiding court proceedures and trying to settle down disputes outside the court because they have  perception that they will not get justice in time and they don't want to involve  financially and emotionally in such a long never ending process .  Reduction in hierarchy , identification of pending cases, appointment of district court , High court and supreme court judges as per sectiond number , appointment of court staff such reforms are needed to improve Indian justice delivery system.

Law making is not enough it's timely execution is must for Atmanirbhar Bharat . Because it will give empowerment to citizens of the country.
